Twitter on the other is a micro-blogging website wherein you can send updates and also receive them from others. You need to follow your friends in order to receive their friends. Both the websites are popular and are also used by a number of celebrities too.
However, when you are on both of them you have to log in to the both of them to update your status and to know what’s happening around. If you want to avoid doing so, then you can actually interlink both your accounts to save your time. The method is quite simple and takes only a few minutes.
Steps to connect the accounts
- Log in to your Facebook account and open this URLhttp://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=2231777543
- On the right top, you will find a button Go to App to add the application.
- On the next page, you will see a button that says “Go to your Twitter Profile Settings to start”.
- When you will click on the button, you will be redirected to the Twitter website.
- You will be required into Twitter. Enter your Twitter account’s user name and password. Your log-in information is safe.
- Once you successfully login into Twitter you will automatically taken to the profile page.
- Scroll down the page till the Facebook option. There you will find a button that says “Posts your tweets to Facebook “and then press Save.
- Allow the application and Authorize Access for Twitter to Facebook.
- Once you do so then every time you update anything of Twitter it will also be changed on Facebook too.
However, there are a few things that you must remember. To begin with, replies on twitter would not be received in your Facebook amount. Also make sure that you do not tweet unnecessarily on Twitter and that too in excess because it will get annoying for your friends added on Facebook as they will get regular updates in their new feed.
